Hello,
i have two nagios xi systems (one production and one testing), we need to migrate the testing on production.
what the best practice to do that without affect on production and have all config file from testing?

You can simply follow the document below:

Backup XI on the "testing" box, perform a new, fresh install of XI on the "new" production box, move the backup you created from the "test" to the new "production" server, and restore from it.
Keep in mind that each Nagios XI license is approved for up to three installations: one primary monitoring/production, one backup/failover, and one test environment.
As long as you are only using one install for production monitoring, you are within the boundaries of our licensing policy.
If you eventually activate Nagios XI on three IP's and need to migrate one of them to a new IP, simply contact our sales department at [email protected]. They can typically offer additional installs.
