Thank you for the info.lgroschen wrote: This is included in XI 5. When using the ./fullinstall script Nagios XI will only use mysql. On existing installs when ./upgrade is used the pgsql database will be retained.
After using the upgrade script it is very possible to migrate the postgres database into the mysql database. We have plans to include a script to perform this in the future releases and it's on our list.

Re: Nagios XI 5 Open Beta - Download Available
I have noticed that in the xi 5 it is taking lot of time to load the "host status detail".
Did anyone notice this or is it possible that only my setup has issue?
#######EDIT#########
It's the same with service details, taking too much time to load.

I don't notice this on my QA server. But it only has two hosts and 50 services. How many hosts / services do you have on your XI 5 test server?I have noticed that in the xi 5 it is taking lot of time to load the "host status detail".

And why is this "search" overlapping with other dashlets?

Maybe it's because I'm old, or maybe it's because I actually have work to do for a living (Bandit), but it's hard for me to keep track of the threads in this post. Would it be possible to make this a new sub-board somewhere so each thread can be its own post, just like all the other forum boards?

I agree with Eric.
It's getting real messy here. A separate board for beta would be good.

This has been fixed already it just isn't in the beta download yet.karthek wrote:with the available themes in xi 5 there is no option to logout.lgroschen wrote: Thanks for reporting this! There was a bug found in the custom logo component and we have the fix coming in the next version.

Re: Nagios XI 5 Open Beta - Download Available
I can see about making this a new sub, but the following would need to be kept in mind:
- This would not be a "You report it, we support it" thing. We'll do our best to get it working if there is a quick fix, otherwise it gets shipped right off to the devs.
- This would not fall under SLA, and would not show up on our "TODO" list dashboard, so replies might be delayed.
- By the time I got this set up, it would be nearing the end of our day, and tomorrow we won't likely have much time to post. Then it's the conference and the Beta is over, so the usefulness of a sub-forum would be very time-limited.
