SNMP to monitor Amazon linux

Hi,

I have an Nagios Core installed on Ubuntu and I wanted to monitor Amazon Linux. I wish to have somebody share knowledge on this and I can have some reading materials for reference.

SNMP on Amazon Linux should be the same as any other EL variant, install snmpd, configure and monitor.
