You mean the data files? I can't recommend that you replace the flat data files, I can virtually guarantee that will result in corrupt databases.
Restoring should be done with the proper client tools mysql and/or psql.
The postgresql database name is nagiosxi
The mysql database name is nagiosql

i restored old backup as image, then i stop all services and restore all latest backup file for /usr and /var, and server returned up to date.
