Bulk Modifications Tool not working as expected

Post by jpelley »

When I select +Add Host Group(s) and I highlight the Host Group I want MG_NorthAmerica, click Select Hosts and highlight 4 contiguous Hosts, click Add Selected and Save Changes it adds the Host Group to the Hosts but when I follow the same process but select 60+ non-contiguous hosts it acts like it works (Updates saved successfully!) but the Host Groups are not assigned to the Hosts. I do not have confidence moving forward to use this tool for other occasions within NagiosXI.

Any advice?

This worked appropriately for me. You might navigate to the hostgroup in question and click 'Hosts' to see whether or not any hosts were assigned to that particular hostgroup. (Added hosts will be 'greyed' out).
