Waiting for configuration verification................

Hi hsmith,

Apply configuration was failing because nagios directory under tools is missing. I got to know about the error from the cronlogs posted earlier i.e output of
tail -50 /var/log/cron

As per the error message I have created the missing nagios folder under /tools after which apply configuration started working.

I could see a file cookies being created under /tools/nagios.

Post doing this change when I clicked Apply configuration it working and I observed cookies.txt file being created under the /tools/nagios folder .

May I know what is the use of this directory ? I have performed installation Nagios manually did I miss something during the installation time ?

Hi ranjitw,

/tools is not anything that is in any way related to the NagiosXI installation. If you have this directory on your system it is because you have done some customization beyond our own recommended procedures.
