Nagios showing double memory usage

Post by NagiosRoss »

Hi guys,

We're using 4.1.0 and after a CentOS update, we have some servers that are displaying double the amount of memory using check_nt commands?

Is this a known issue? I've read around and it looks like it could be a check_nt thing and that we should be using check_nrpe now?

Thanks,

Ross

What version of CentOS did you upgrade to? I've not personally seen/heard of this one. I could try to replicate it, but I do like the advice of using check_nrpe over check_nt a lot.

It's on the latest version of CentOS. This was fixed on one server by NSClient++ being updated, but this was not the case for the remaining server.

What happens if you try to run the check from the command line? I really doubt it's a display bug, but still something we are going to need to verify.
