no change, what is the difference between 5 and 2014r2.7 for this command????
Did you run this on the command line?

./check_ifoperstatus -k 10 -v2 -H 172.25.10.1 -C ATNI! <----missing exclamation from previous command but exist via web check.. check_xi_service_ifoperstatus!ATNI!!10!-v2 which fails..
OK: Interface pime (index 10) is up.

Wondering how it handles the double exclamation????? maybe needs some type of seperator..

I'm a little unclear on what is happening here. Are you saying that if you run it via the command line with the !'s it works? The exclamation point is how we separate arguments in the service definition. You shouldn't need them at all when testing via command line.

Here is what I would like from you:
  • The service definition of one of the checks that is failing.
  • What command you ran via the command line to make it works.
  • Inside of your commands.cfg, I would also like to see the check_xi_service_ifoperstatus command definition.

Thanks.

Our community name ends with the Exclamation point... i had previously cut and pasted the command and missed it. Community name is ATNI!

Do you have those definitions I can take a look at? The exclamation point is surely going to confuse XI inside of the service definition since that's the character we use to separate arguments.
