Nagios XI 5 - Searchbox

Thanks guys. This was driving me nuts also.
I for one think the old placement of the search box on the left was a lot more convenient than on the top.

Also the search button which is replaced by <Enter>, an extra step for me now.
Earlier just paste and click to search, now the right hand has to leave the mouse and press enter.

I actually like it on the top much better than on the left.....at least we agree the newest is 3rd best, lol

Thanks for the feeback, guys! Change is difficult. I remember, when I was testing the "XI 5 Modern" theme, it felt...well different. I would always try to go back to the "XI 2014" theme as I was used to it. Now however, I love the "Modern" theme and I am not looking back.

I am not sure if the "search" box should be auto selected no matter what screen you are in. In my opinion, the "other" search bar should be selected by default under the CCM (Hosts/Services). Let me know what you think.

Ludmil, I had a condition on that, only if the searchbox was just used. So basically, home page and/or service status screen.

As to your idea for CCM, yeah, sounds good

In the feature request I said auto select either on the home screen, or have some sort of timeout for when it was last used.
