We have Nagios XI 2014R2.7 on RHEL 6.5 with Apache web server installed. The Apache web server listens on port 80 and 443 by default. The Nagios XI web interface is configured on port 80 (http://${my_XI_server}/nagiosxi), we do not configure it to use https/SSL on port 443. If we disable SSL and port 443 on the Apache web server, will the Nagios XI be affected? Is the SSL and port 443 used for Apache web server only on Nagios XI?
Thanks!
Disable port 443 and SSL on Apache web server
Re: Disable port 443 and SSL on Apache web server
You should be able to run it only on port 80 / HTTP provided you haven't configured anything to run over SSL.
