Hello,

Please see attachment. I was able to navigate to correct directory. But one there, I was unable to execute the command you sent me.
I noticed in the directory there is a config file. Should this be edited and if so how?

Thanks for working with me.

Sorry, we just listed the directory and told you to go there. The actual command to change to that directory is cd /usr/local/nagios/libexec then everything should work. Also, @rkennedy did say to replace "iphere" with the IP of the machine in Missouri.

Hello,

While I was able to navigate to the directory the command to change the timeout did not work.
Please see attached.

Thanks,

Let's go to the directory that the plugins are stored in.

Code: Select all

cd /usr/local/nagios/libexec
Then run this command:

Code: Select all

./check_nrpe -H iphere -t 30
Don't actually type iphere. Type in an ip address for your server in Missouri, such as 1.3.3.7 or whatever.
