how to configure many Views via Admin Login

Post by zaji_nms »

Dear Expert

Me as an Administrator , created three fake users (Read-Only user , can view all host/services).
Me logged as First_View_User, created the Views to monitor top50 customers
Me logged as Map_View, created the View to monitor some maps related to infrastructure.
Me logged as Other_View , created the view to keep eyes on some important miscellaneous services.

if tomorrow we need some more Host/Services/Map to view in groups, I have to create that many users.

Is there any way, me as an Administrator, can create , many Views and can be view (just read only) with my choice of URLs.

VIEW's Name (can be create as many)
Username/Password (for the above VIEW)
What to View (can be add Host/Services/Map (URL) as my wish), sorting order should remain whatever selected.

Regards

Just so I understand, are you asking how to restrict a certain view to only be visible by a certain user?

Can you show us an example of one of the URLs you are using? I may be possible to use the "Backend API URL" component and append the "&username=<your read only user>&ticket=<token>" to the end of the URL.
