I know there is a tutorial out there on expanding the default disk size for the VM that nagios NA comes on; however my machine doesn't appear to have the logical drives. How can I easily expand the disk?
1. Increased size in VMware Player
2. fdisk -l only shows /dev/sda1 - no logical volumes.
Other than booting up gparted, what can I do to expand this? I'm looking to put this on a production ESXI instance to play with and want to have this down before I give my server team a snapshot.

Re: Expanding Disk Size
I ultimately attached my drive to another Lubuntu VM and expanded it with gparted - but if anyone has any ideas on how to do this live with the physical volume (no logical volume???) I'm all ears.
Re: Expanding Disk Size
For clarification - which version of VMware player are you using?
Can you please post the output of ls -l?

Re: Expanding Disk Size
I'm surprised we didn't build volumes on top of LVM. I'll verify this and get that information to the build folks.
