AD Authentication with 5.2.0

Post by jcwuerfl »

Prev. to my upgrade to 5.2.0 We used a AD Plugin for Authentication and had that configured :

Active Directory Integration
Uses Active Directory as a user authentication source.
Version: 0.4 Author: Nagios Enterprises, LLC

With 5.2.0 I now see LDAP/AD Integration and I need to add an "Authentication Server" for that and that needs to be added to be able to import users from AD?

1) Should I continue to use the older plugin above?
2) If not, should I uncheck the AD Plugin Enable, then add the new Authentication server? and then Use the "LDAP / Active Directory Integration Configuration" ? Or what's the recommended approach?

Thanks!

No. You should remove that component.
