Opening Summary on Home page give status.cgi download

I click on any link on the Nagios Homepage it will give me an option to download a cgi. If I click on summary, I get status.cgi. I am using FireFox on Unbuntu. Nothing I try seems to work. I checked the permissions on the /usr/local/nagios/sbin and bin directories and all appears correct. Not sure where to go from here. In addition, the files look like they are in sbin have a Sept 30th date. Which means they are not being updated.

Can we get some information about your installation?

What version of core is this? (3.x, 4.x)
What O/S is it installed on? (Redhat, Ubuntu, ???)
What method did you use to install it? (Repo, Source, OVA?)
