Nagios server to accept IMM alerts by email ?

Post by nagmoto »

Hi
Looking at R1, there are scripts for snmp query active and passive Nagios check.
Is there existing script for Nagios server to process hardware alert sent by IBM IMM ?

Thanks for your advice

The process you're looking for isn't going to be IMM specific - what you're wanting to do is process E-mails into passive checks. The plugin and documentation does exist on the Exchange - bear in mind it's not as point and click as some other features:

Is there anything else we can do to help you out in this thread, or are we all right to mark it as 'resolved' and close?

Yes, I think I asked following question before but I forgot the answer.
How can I mark the "resolve" myself without wasting your time ?

No waste of time on our part. Just let us know and we'll do the rest. The thread needs to actually be closed, and only a moderator can do that.

I'll be closing this thread now, but feel free to open another if you need anything in the future!
