If your users are under CN=Users,OU=Whatever,DC=company,DC=com - Try setting the Base DN a level up (OU=Whatever,DC=company,DC=com) and then when it shows the Users folder on the left, click on it and it should show the users after that.

Let us know

Thank you

As as test, are you able to set the Base DN to DC=company,DC=com (change to match your organisation). I know it may show more users than you intend, but we are just trying some tests.

Also, what security method have you chosen? None, SSL or TLS?

Yes I did set the base dn to the top of our AD Forest. No folders show up on the import. The Security is set to none currently.

Thanks!

jcwuerfl wrote:Humm. I moved both of those and then was able to login. I guess I was using the active_directory one before.

I moved the ldap_ad_integration one back, and that one is the one that looks like its the "new" one with 5.2 ? So, I would like to use this one going forward as it seems like it has an import option as well which the other one did not.

What's the best way to change to that one to make sure I don't lock myself out?

Thanks
Did you end up moving both of these components back?

Can you go:
Admin > System Extensions > Manage Components
Edit the old Active Directory Integration component
Make sure it is not enabled
Click Apply Settings.

Now when you go to import users, are you seeing anything listed?

Yes I made sure to disable the old component so it's only the new one. Just get a blank screen no folders / out for the inport screen.

So question. If a call is determined to be a bug, does it go against your call count ?

thanks.

Generally yes, it will still count (especially with a call as opposed to an email ticket). I will PM you more details and you can then make the decision as to how to continue.
