Hi,
I have installed Nagios XI in vmare player and I am able to browse to it from my desktop by the ip address of the Nagios server running in vmware player. I am have installed NSClient++ onto my Windows Server 2008 so I can monitor it. I am not sure what to change in the NSclient++ configuration setting file to get it to run so I can monitor the server. When I run NSclient++ nothing happens and I am unable to monitor it from Nagios XI. Does anyone have a basic configuration for the nsclient++ config setting file that I can use to get an idea what I need to do to get it to work?
Thanks,
Steven

Re: configuring NS Client config file
Thank you for the information but none of it shows me a basic configuration of the Nsclient ++ configuration file. I am able to install Nsclient ++ and when I read the manual, it says to change the configuration file to my discretion in order to start the Nsclient++. I am unsure which semi colon to remove in the configuration file. Please send me a basic configuration file that will start Nsclient++ and be able to monitor my Windows Server.
Thank you,
Steven
