Hello
We attempted limiting alerts for specific hosts to 02:00-23:00 instead of 24x7 (known CPU overload times)
But alerts kept coming anyways (contacts are 24x7, because there are many more hosts under monitoring)
What was not taken into consideration when configuring alerts? (Or it had to be by-Service)?
Thank you
Configured Host time periods but alerts still coming

Can you show us some examples of the alerts received.
Can you show us the host/service definitions and the contact definitions (click the disk icon next to them in the actions column in CCM).

I removed host-based configurations and cloned xi_timeperiod_24x7 instead to use with the service. It seems to work this way as expected.Box293 wrote:Can you show us some examples of the alerts received.

24x7 timeperiod was cloned instead prior to posting this question (now removed)
I apologise and believe this to be something done wrong by me.
