Dear Team,
I am new to Nagios and want to use it for our client deployments. In nagios aside from monitoring the services, is there any way that I can extend the 'Service Commands' panel with 'Stop a Service' and 'Start a Service ' request.
We are trying to make Nagios as centralized platform for monitoring the services and in case of any issue then from same monitoring panel we want to restart the service.
If its possible, please let me know, it will be of great help.
How to Start/Stop particular service from Nagios Panel
Re: How to Start/Stop particular service from Nagios Panel
At this time, that is not built in to Nagios. The closest option that we have is action_url, which can add a link next to a service.
Here's a link with a bit more information about what can be configured through core - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... tions.html

I think Nagios Reactor and Willem's Nagios Automation Framework could do this for you:
