Need to implement SEC(SimpleEventCorelator) on Nagios Core

Hi all,

I need to implement simple event corelator on Nagios to improve the monitoring performance.
Kindly let me know if there is any Plugins for Nagios/Open source software available which can be integrated with Nagios Tool.

Nagios Version : Nagios® Core™ Version 3.5.0

What?

You are trying to filter Nagios logs through a SEC tool? Or you want Nagios to monitor what a SEC tool finds?

I'm just confused as to what you are doing and what you are asking for.

yes I need to filter Nagios logs using a SEC Tool.
Currently there are lot of performance issues(fault alarms,Delayed alerts etc) with the Tool. Need to implement a SEC tool to analyse the logs to improve the Nagios Performance

near the bottom there is discussion about SEC and filtering log files. Just point sec at where ever you are dumping nagios logs and it will do the rest.
