Passive monitoring technologies

Post by guitounet »

Hi Nagios users,

I try to implement a passive monitoring method which can use multiple password to authenticate clients to nagios server.

NSCA do not implement this kind of authentication it's only a one global passphrase.
NRDP implement this feature (by check result_path) but it seems that Nagios will deprecate this feature

Do you know other passive monitoring protocol using multiple auth. and multiple OS support (*nix/windows)

Thanks for your help.

Where is that coming from?

If there is a feature request you would like to see, you can submit one under the appropriate branch on our GitHub page.
