Change Data Lifetime for a Source?

Post by gehogan3 »

Quick question...is it possible to change the "Data Lifetime" setting for an existing source?

There doesn't seem to be any "Edit" option for sources, only "Stop" and "Delete."

Thanks,

Please navigate to the 'Sources' page - once there click on a particular source that you'd like to edit. The 'Edit' button will appear in the top-right corner of the screen:

Thanks!

But when I change it to 3 days...I get this banner on the Summary page:

"This report runs on raw data. Your current start time (-24 hours) is longer than your raw data lifetime (-3d). You will only be seeing the last 3d of data."

Now...I understand that I don't magically have the previous 2 days worth of data that has been retired, but this message is ... well ... wrong. :-)
