Passive Checks

Post by peter19x »

When I want to add new passive checks via the Passive Check Monitoring Wizard in nagiosxi, I only get 5 fields of service names that could be configured as passive services associated with the host. So if I need to add more services I will have to launch the wizard several times. I have more then 100 passive checks per host that I need to setup. Is there a simpler way do to it?

A much simpler way would be to let the passive checks come in on their own, and go to Admin -> Unconfigured Objects. All of the passive checks that come in and have not been configured will be listed here, and a wizard link will be provided to set them all up.
