upgrade via rpm

Post by Francesco »

Hi,
we installed "Nagios XI 2014R2.7" from the rpm repository. Now we would upgrade to the latest version. Could you provide us the installation repo url and the guide to to this upgrade correctly?
Thanks in advance

This guide:

And this link:

Should answer your question.

Thanks a lot for your answer.
Is there some problem I could have during upgrade? I've done some NagiosXI backup, if something goes wrong, is it simple to restore the previous situation?
Thanks in advance

The easiest solution if you need to go back is to take a snapshot before you do the upgrade, if this is a VM.

You can take a backup of your configuration using this document. Otherwise, that's about it.
