Nagios Network Diagrams

Post by jjosph »

Dear Experts,

Do you know if there is a plugin we can add to Nagios to be able to add network diagrams and other diagrams like Zabbix?

Thanks,
JJ

As I'm not familiar with what you're Zabbix, can you provide a bit more information about what this plugin does in regards a network diagram?

I basically want to import my Visio / Photo diagrams into Nagios so lets say if a user hits

he/she will get the network diagrams i imported.

So once you import your network diagrams, how do you want them to display?

I'm still a bit confused about what you're trying to accomplish.

If I was in your position, I'd take a look at NagVis.

Not only does it give a tool to create your network diagrams straight from Nagios,

it also has a container option.

As long as you put your network diagram into an php file using basic html,

you can create an iframe (container object) in nagvis where the network diagram will be shown.

@amx thanks for the contribution, that's a pretty good option as well.

@jjosph let us know if you have any questions.
