service cannot search 0202:my_router_1:4_4:my_desc_1:9_1:1GE

Dear Expert

Our all services are configured in this manner and we cannot search from Global Option at Top Right or even from Services

0202:my_router_1:4_4:my_desc_1:9_1:1GE:LC:0B Status

We have to replace : with _ and then we able to search but its not practical, what is the reason or when will get fixed.

What version of XI are you running?

I setup a host with the name "0202:my_router_1:4_4:my_desc_1:9_1:1GE" and then a service with "0202:my_router_1:4_4:my_desc_1:9_1:1GE:LC:0B Status".

I'm able to paste "0202:my_router_1:4_4:my_desc_1:9_1:1GE" in the global search and with services and I'm able to see it.

Is that what you're trying to do and it doesn't return anything?

we have now running latest 5.2.3 facing same issue we have put following display name " 1:9:33:0:Test Link " for testing we tried finding this link using 1:9:33:0 but no success but if we search via 1_9_33_0 it gives us correct link and right search why search result not working with any charchter ???

can we have multiple search option in future search first box " condition ( and / or ) " search second box ?
