Warning/Critical State Notifications

Post by scheema31 »

Hi,

i have my nagios setup so it sends email for warning and critical states, however i have noticed that when i acknowledge a warning and then when that services changes to critical i do not get a notification.
is this by design or is there a config setting i can look into?

Thanks,

This is by design. Once a service enters a HARD warning/critical/unknown, changing from warning->critical has no affect on the service. Once it's been acknowledged, it will no longer send notifications.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
