can't apply scheduled downtime to a specific host or service

Post by slater86 »

Hi All,

Since upgrading to Nagios XI 5.2.3 (upgraded over 5.2.2), I can no longer apply downtime to a specific host or service. Buttons are all there and can be filled out but pushing "submit" just closes the window.
Mass acknowledge downtime and reoccurring downtime still work fine. This has started happening on a fresh (not restored) 2 month old build and on the 5 year old build that the new one is replacing soon.

Anyone else seeing this?

--Matt
Both Build Details:
Linux Distribution and version? CentOS release 6.7 (Final) x64
VMware Image or Manual Install of XI? Manual Install
No special configurations on system.

Which page are you clicking 'submit' from? Is this the service status detail page? Any screenshots will help as well - I'll try to replicate this on my end.

Hey rkennedy,

Would you believe I've been watching the forums for about 3 weeks for anyone else with the same issue before posting and could find anything.
Not 30 mins after posting I found this slightly older article that describes my exact issue, which you've also commented on.

Happy to comment/contribute on the other thread and close this one if that helps.
Apologies for the dupe topic.
