Nagios XI Don't Send E-Mail

I am having the same exact problem.
I can receive the test email and I am using SMTP with no authentication.

I can see that there was notification sent in nagios.log file and I can see it is sent to a contact whose email address is set properly. Still I am not receiving any notification.
Can someone please assist ?

Is this on all of your services/hosts? What version of XI are you running? If you're able to, can you send me your profile for review?

Go to Admin --> System Config --> System Profile
Click "Download Profile"
Save the .zip file and send it to me as a PM.
Do not attach it to this forum post, it will contain sensitive information.

Just an update on this.
If I select the logged in user as notification recipient I can receive the emails from nagios. But when I select Contact-group, although I see notification is sent out from nagios.log, I don'treceive it as email.

And does the Contact-group have the same user/contact as the local user that works?

I just read at another post where they mentioned that having only contact wont work. Hence I created a Local User with a contact that I am now using as recipient.
With this approach I am now getting notification emails.
Please let me know if this is the correct method.

It allows you to do a lot more customization. I recommend setting it up this way if possible.
