http://HOSTNAME/nagios/cgi-bin/config.cgi
how do you get to this point just using the Nagios XI GUI

From that page, what information are you looking for in XI?
I know we have the Hostgroup Grid / Overview / Summary pages available, but just making sure that's what you're looking for.

I just want to be able to get to that page so I can look at that information.
I was hoping I could click to it, instead of having to put in a url all the time. I just got comfortable with using it in our free version of core.

Host Escalations

Ah, for that specific page - I don't think so. I could file a FR request for this if you'd like?
You can use the custom URL dashlet to create a page inside of XI that shows that in a frame though similar to what I've done below. The link I'm using is http://192.168.4.254/nagios/cgi-bin/con ... hostgroups - this may prompt you for login though As this uses different authentication vs XI, you may need to login to the page to see it once you've created the dashlet. The other alternative is to hardcode a user/pass into the URL like so http://user:[email protected]/nagios/c ... hostgroups

To add to this one...
This topic has been discussed before. Here is a link to the forum post: https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 971#154861
In fact, I posted a feature request (2015-10-02): Nagios XI Feature Request: Nagios XI - View Object Configuration as in Nagios Core (TASK ID 6529).
