Check based on time not interval.

If I wanted a check to perform at specific minutes of each hour : aka 15,30,45 is there a way to do that ?

Unfortunately there in not an option to have Nagios check every xx minutes into each hour, as you mentioned. You can get a little more granular than just the check interval by specifying a check period, where you restrict the time that Nagios performs checks = only run checks within specified time range.
