check if mail has been in mailbox for a certain time

I am new to nagios so please excuse if this has been asked before - i couldn't find it on though.

I am trying to figure out if i can get nagios to monitor an exchange inbox, and check if there are any emails which is more than 10 minutes old. I have spent a week and can't seem to find anything.

hopefully somebody here knows if it is possible and how to do so.

Is IMAP enabled on your exchange server?
