Minimum Check Interval Time

Post by jkinning »

I have a Developer who has an application that is leveraging our F5 for load balancing. The F5 ping check is set at 10 seconds. He wanted to see if Nagios could be used to provide him with granularity on what application service call is failing. When I look at the check settings I see x min meaning it looks like 1 min is the minimum. Is there a way to check more frequently? Like 10 or 30 seconds?

There's not really an official way to do it, one minute is the lowest. You might be able to hack something together, but that could throw other things off.

I'll just let all know that 1 minute is the minimum check time.

Thanks and you can close this at your convenience.
