Where do you see this "install" button? Can you show us a screenshot?

I wanted you to click on "Apply Configuration". You will need to:

1. Log in the web interface by going to: http://x.x.x.x/nagiosxi/
Note: You should be able to log in the web UI even though your upgrade failed. Is this the case or you cannot log in at all?

2. Go to Configure->Core Config Manager

3. Click on Apply Configuration

If you are not able to provide that tail, run the following commands from the command line, and show us the output:

Code: Select all

su nagios
cd /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts
./reconfigure_nagios.sh
exit

I attached the screen shot with the install button. Clicking on login does not change the screen.

Normally this is the fresh install dialog that occurs when you first setup an XI server.

Did you take a backup of snapshot of this XI sever before you started? It might be easier to go back and diagnose any issues before upgrading.

This sounds like a problem we should take this into a support ticket so we can help you through a remote session.

Please send an email to [email protected] referencing this forum thread and we'll take it from there. Reply to this thread when you have done this so we can confirm we received the email.
