2 Nagios XI server

Hi.

Under a migrate period we have 2 Nagios XI server (old 2012R1 and new 5.2.3)that check same hosts and services and we get strange reports, one server have the service as critical and the on the other one the service is green t(OK). Is it where problems to have this setup and can cause these kind of problems?

Can you post the service definition for the service that is doing this on both servers?

that is hard to do, because its always different services that larm on the new server and are OK on the old one...

• What kind of checks are they that are returning these mixed results?
• How often is this happening?
• Is one of the servers accurate (have you checked whether or not the service is actually failing when one of the servers says that it is?)
