XI Reporting

I have a host that is moving and being renamed. We are re-using the IP addresses in the new location. We will need to re-name this in Nagios. Does Nagios XI handles the statistics like Nagios core does (where if a node is re-named in the middle of a month it loses all the statistics recorded up to that point)? If Nagios XI allows the statistics collected for the old name to be retained for the new name, then you can would be able to re-name this host.

The Bulk Renaming Tool should allow for retaining historical data:

"The Renaming Tool allows for host and service names to be updated in bulk, while retaining all historical status information and performance data. The renaming tool updates configurations based on what is defined in the Core Config Manager."

In the XI UI go to CCM > Tools > Renaming tool
