Please excuse what seems like an elementary question, but is there an easy way to add a service to an existing host after it has already been configured in XI? I realize that the function is available through CCM, however, what I'm looking / hoping for is a way that non-admin users can easily add them. For example, a windows box is configured to only ping, but set up as a windows server through the GUI - after those changes have been applied, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to go in and monitor a service (for example).
I appreciate any help.

Re: Easily add service to pre-existing host
You can go to CCM, add a new service and click 'Manage Hosts.' Then assign the host that relates to that service check.
Non-admin users would require the privilege "Can (re)configure hosts and services" of course.

Re: Easily add service to pre-existing host
If you use hostgroups and assign them to services, adding monitoring is as simple as adding a host to a hostgroup.
