Nagios client machine configuration steps

I have configured nagios 4.x core the server is up and running fine .. how to add client machine into the server both Linux machine and windows machine.can you please help me configur the setup.

I have configured client machine .but nagios server side I am getting error Socket timeout after 10 seconds”. Can you please help me to.close the issue. Nagios server installed on Ubuntu 14 .

What OS is your client running, and what agent are you running on the client machine? Do you have a firewall running on the client machine?

Nagios server : Ubuntu 14
Client machine : centos 6.5
Agent running on client : NRPE 2.x , Nagios plugins 2.x
Firewall state : off .

Did you follow a guide on the client machine to install NRPE? If so what guide did you follow and please link us to it.

Yes, he's very knowledgeable. Lots of good guides at that site.

One thing to be aware of is that if you installed from source, configuration files will be in /usr/local/nagios. If you installed from a package, they are sometimes in /etc/nagios. Make sure you use the proper path in your xinetd config file (/etc/xinetd.d/nrpe) or else the connection won't work.

i have configured client side but i am getting error in server side. please find the attachement.
