The PC isn't in the same subnet as the XI server and there isn't a way for me to get a PC in the same subnet. We aren't using a proxy on the PC either.Box293 wrote:Is your PC in the same subnet as the XI server?
If the answer is no, are you able to test from a PC in the same subnet as the XI server?
Do you use a proxy server on your PC?

Are you able to look at the firewall / router logs that separate the PC and the XI server and see if there is any connection limiting going on?

I am, and there doesn't appear to be any connection timing / limiting at all.Box293 wrote:Are you able to look at the firewall / router logs that separate the PC and the XI server and see if there is any connection limiting going on?

Has this problem always occurred or did it suddenly just start?

Can you please PM over a profile for us to look at? (Admin -> System Profile -> Download Profile)
I'd like to take a deeper look at your environment, to see if anything is standing out of the ordinary.
EDIT: profile received.

In addition to what rkennedy posted, I've seen it where people didn't have the FQDN and shortname in /etc/hosts and didn't have a DNS entry at the remote datacenter and it caused slowness. Double-check that you have those /etc/hosts entries like:
Code: Select all
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4 myxiserver myxiserver.domain.comRe: Service Status Detail Charts not displaying
Sent you (most of) the profile. Looks like my mrtg.tar.gz file is 2.6M but the PM tool only allows a file size of 1MB or less.rkennedy wrote:Can you please PM over a profile for us to look at? (Admin -> System Profile -> Download Profile)

I added the hostname to the end of that string; but still no joy.ssax wrote:In addition to what rkennedy posted, I've seen it where people didn't have the FQDN and shortname in /etc/hosts and didn't have a DNS entry at the remote datacenter and it caused slowness.
