Pending check issue

Is this only occurring for the Ping checks (meaning you have other checks that work properly)?

yes ssax, as of moments this only happened to the "Ping check" all the other services are working fine.

I notice all the Ping services are defined in /usr/local/nagios/etc/static, maybe that has something to do with it.

Are any of the Ping services working?

This is very strange, it should be working, we may have to move this into a remote session, please send an email to [email protected] with a descriptive subject and a detailed body with a link back to this thread so that we can get one set up.

That is correct all my services are in the static directory, and yes other ping services are working, but now if I add anymore ping services they stay in the pending state until I do "force immediate check"

Please give me a name of a host that you have that it's failing for, I could've been looking at a working one.
