Nagios XI: Reports Feature slow after upgrade

We have just upgraded Nagios IX 2014 to Nagios XI 5 and we now experience very slow response when generation any report from the menu.

Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

How many hosts / services are you running on the machine? Also, how many cores are allocated to this machine?

I'd like to see what kind of resources are in use currently on your machine too. Can you please run top|head -20 on the machine?

I suspect you're hitting a throttle point somewhere.
