- Go to Nagios XI.
- Create a Nagios XI user that authenticates out of Active Directory.
- Go to Fusion.
- Link a server using the username and password from step 2.
- Sit back and watch it authenticate properly, but be unable to show current status in dashboard.
Active Directory Nagios XI users dont' authenticate
Active Directory Nagios XI users dont' authenticate
It looks like a Nagios XI user that's authenticated out of Active Directory cannot be used for authentication from Fusion and have proper display of host and service status. Here's the steps:

Re: Active Directory Nagios XI users dont' authenticate
You're right with this, and hopefully Jake's response in the other thread provides some clarification for you. (https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 20#p175519)
I don't believe this is the correct behavior, and with that said I did file a bug report to make sure this is addressed in the reworking. The ID on it is #8006.

Thanks. You can close this. I just needed it "out there" on the interwebs.

No problem - closing it out. I'm looking forward to seeing the new functionality of Fusion as well!
