The php.ini file shows this which is correct:

NTP is taken from the gateway router....see below:

synchronised to NTP server (10.40.1.249) at stratum 6
time correct to within 142 ms
polling server every 1024 s
Many Thanks

Yes, I have, hence the reason as to why I posted what was in the php.ini file.
Re: "Sorry Dave" error on logging in using a TV Monitor
You specifically state, "when using a large monitor." What about a small monitor? Seriously, what happens when you connect to the Nagios XI GUI from some place other than your NOC?

It occurs when you are using a browser from a Smart TV monitor....connectivity location will not make a difference.eloyd wrote:You specifically state, "when using a large monitor." Maybe I'm not understanding you or vice versa, but if you take your desktop computer and aim it at the Nagios XI URL, what happens? Are you saying it works properly?

Thanks, Eric.
@vijilants, let us know. Also, any information you could provide us about your environment would help as well.

You plug a laptop or computer in to the same port, no problems. You plug the Samsung Screen in to the same port and use the Chrome built in browser, you get the problem, regardless of clearing caches etc etc.
Re: "Sorry Dave" error on logging in using a TV Monitor
It's the "plugging in to the same port" part that confuses me. Nagios GUI is accessed by a web page, not via a port on the back of a computer. So I may be misunderstanding what you are referring to, but I think you've answered my question.
Basically, it looks like using a TV browser won't work, while using a laptop browser will work. Is this correct?
If so, then I'm not sure there's anything that can be done, as browsers on televisions are often very underpowered when compared to desktop versions. My suggestion would be to get an Intel stick (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6883800005), plug it into the HDMI port on the TV, and use a browser on the stick to display your Nagios instead. You'll have a full-fledged browser, plus an actual computer that can be used for some purpose as well, running on your giant TV.

Re: "Sorry Dave" error on logging in using a TV Monitor
Thanks @eloyd!
Additionally, your smart TV may not work properly with Nagios. These are not built to be computers. I suspect if you switch the video as @eloyd mentioned -- this issue will cease to exist.
I don't have a smart TV here to test with, but it might be worth making sure that the browser supports sessions / cookies / javascript as these will all be essential.
EDIT: On a side note, it could be a time issue with your TV or something else. There really isn't any way for us to confirm what will work exactly with Nagios. This thread came up though, which is similar, and I wanted to bring it to your attention. https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 00#p176200
