how to monitor solaris OS paramenters under nagiosxi

Hi,

I have one solaris 10 server. we are going to take this server in production.
after taking this server into production environment i need to monitor solaris OS parameters.
i have tried installing nrpe on solaris but failed. followed by below url.

so is it possible to monitor solaris os under nagiosxi ?
or
is it possible to monitor solaris os agentless i mean by usign snmp ?

You can probably go back and examine what exactly failed and try to install it again. You can also look for a different solution on Nagios Exchange. I found this link; there may be more:

I am no snmp expert, but I think that snmp is a possible solution.
