I really think it's just an alias problem, if i go to: http://ipaddress/nagios/cgi-bin/status.cgi it works

I wasn't able to replicate. Can we see your history command pertaining to the parts where you installed nagios?

The 'history' command should show this, and then you can just copy and paste it here.
