Change ICMP Polling interval

Hi Team,

I do have a Odd request.

I am willing to change the ICMP polling interval.(Higher that 1 min). My nagios poll every device in the interval of 1 min (5packets).
Since my infra is huge, my network team suggest to increase the polling interval of ICMP for testing purpose.

I could see the polling interval in host definition is 5 min. But in firewall i could see nagios poll every device every minute.

Am i missing anything or check_icmp is suppose to poll devices for every minute.

Let me know how to increase the polling interval of ICMP alone.

Can you post your host / service definition for us to look at? Also, can you post the log files your seeing on the firewall side (a screenshot works too, just want to see what you're talking about).

Finally, please show us the output of cat /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg|grep interval_length
