It seems like you are able to run check_nrpe against the client machine successfully...
Try running the "Linux Server" wizard against the same machine. Enter "10.102.36.62" in the "IP Address" field in Step 1, and select "RedHat Enterprise" from the "Linux Distribution" drop-down menu. Click "Next", "Next", "Finish".
Are the checks on the newly created host still failing?
In this specific case host address somehow got replaced by "localhost" (we ran 1 x Linux Server and 1 x NCPA Wizard against this host)
Not sure if Wizard does it (have to find host to run against once more) - you would have many complains if it did (?)
Odd, it shouldn't replace anything. Do you have multiple hosts setup possibly, using different addresses?
Usually, when you rerun a wizard, it will append any changes, and not alter a host. For example, If you specified localhost, it should modify the localhost services.
