Hello,
I'm trying to integrate Grafana with Nagios XI via Tools. This works fine untill we try to expand the screen with the blue plus button in the upper left corner. Check the screenshots for clarification. Please note that both my Nagios XI and Grafana URL's are on HTTPS, other wise this doesn't work.
Is there any way to make web applications expand properly?
Grtz

IS this still on XI 5.2.3 as per your signature?
Can you send a screenshot (sanitize if needed) of the Grafana info under the Tools setting menu?

It's my production server which is on 5.2.5. Sorry I can't easily update my signature as the forum uses some sort of blacklist which blocks the ip's of my work
That's the problem with 6k+ users browsing the web.

We'll have to test this out on our end and see if we can replicate. It looks like it's going to need a dev fix. If you don't hear back from us early next week feel free to bump this.

Willem, do you see any errors in the Firebug console, while using the tools (clicking on the blue plus button)? Have you tried using the Custom URL Dashlet as a "workaround"?

I do seem to get some errors, but not sure why this is happeiong or what this implies. Protocols, domain and port should be identical..

Do you get that in other browsers as well? I think that's behavior that is defined by your browser, and some might be more lenient than others.

In Firefox, I'm getting even weirder behaviour, see screenshot.

Did the Custom URL Dashlet work as a temporary workaround? This is almost certainly going to be a browser-specific bug, and the devs will probably need to put in a fix.

Re: Blue Fullscreen PLus Button not working for Tools
Trevor,
The custom URL dashlet would not fluently integrate imho. As Grafana is a separate product, the tools menu seemed ideally. I'm not going to pursue this if it's too much work, as I know you guys to-do list is big. Although I do have the feeling the tools menu is not reaching its full potential due to too many usability issues. This while it could be a way to integrate other tools into XI, making XI the 'mother' monitoring tool.
Do you think a bug report or usability issue is in order here?
