HPUX NRPE Binary - attached

Post by SteveBeauchemin »

I can not take credit for this as the HP-UX Guru at my site did the work.
I see requests for help compiling NRPE on HPUX every so often here.
Since I now have HP-UX nrpe that supports parameter passing, I thought I would share it.
It is Version 2.14. I will add a 2.16 attachment later if I get one.

The attachment is for HP-UX B.11.31 ia64

Since I wish someone else had posted this for us all, and I finally can...

Download, extract, and enjoy.

Thanks

Steve B

Much appreciated! However:

This doesn't directly violate anything, but I do need to make this disclaimer:

This binary file was not provided by Nagios Enterprises, and has not been tested for functionality or security. Use at your own risk.

That is all. I might also suggest moving this into General if you want more exposure.

I don't need more exposure - from where I sit, this is for people who pay for support. I do not work for Nagios and no one should blame me or anyone else if this doesn't work for them. It is something that works on my system so far, and if anyone else can benefit then it is a good thing. I believe in sharing and it is why I use the forums. Teaching and Learning.

If it doesn't work for 'You" who try it, then find another way... That's what I would do, and I expect you to do the same.

Thanks
